Important Information / House rules

Before check in and during your stay for your comfort - good to know

1. Address. Your apartment's address is as displayed on the apartment's site and communicated via email. All apartments are individual apartments in regular residential building. 

2. You can get the apartment anytime from 3pm.

 

3. Early check-in. 1pm. 15 EUR. If you would like to enter the apartment earlier, please contact us at least 1 day before arrival. In this case early check-in is at 1pm, and it is 15 EUR as we order an express cleaning (this is the reason of the extra). Unfortunately, we cannot grant it, but we will do everything we can. If it is not doable (express cleaning is not available or the previous guest checks out later) we will inform you and then of course there is no extra.

 

4. Document collection before check-in. We will send you an email asking for your personal documents 2 days before your arrival. You will need to send your ID or passport photos. We do not store it, we do not keep a copy, it just needs to be uploaded to the HU Touristic System according to EU laws. Why do we need your documents? See here: https://vizainfo.hu/en/ When we have your information, we will process your registration on your arrival day, in order to check you in as soon as possible. Then on your arrival day, you just need to wait to get the navigation information from us, which is going to be sent by 3pm. 

 

5. How does the check-in work? How will you get into the apartment? When the apartment is ready, we immediately send you the navigation information to the apartment (how you can get in) and also the PIN code for the key lock. Call Center may be very busy around check-in time, it may take a few minutes to get your reply; we appreciate your patience. If you get lost, please contact us directly.


6. Check-out (anytime before 10am). Check-out is easy. You need to switch off the lights and devices, close the apartment, put the key back to the key safe and you are done.

 

7. Late check-out. 11.00am/10EUR or 12.00pm/20EUR. If you wish to have a later check-out, please contact us directly at least 1 day before the departure day. We cannot guarantee it unfortunately; it depends on the next guest’s arrival, but we will do our best for sure (if not doable not payable of course)!
 

8. Invoice. We issue the invoice for you to your name. If you wish the invoice to be issued to other person or company, please provide the invoice details on your arrival day the latest! After the invoice is issued unfortunately, we cannot make any changes. For the invoice, we would need the following details: (A) Company’s name, (B) Address details (ZIP, country, town, street, house nr, tax nr if applicable), (B) e-mail address (where we can send it to you).

9. Parking information. Important information to avoid bad surprises. You need to pay for parking everywhere in Budapest downtown. Everywhere, so no pay-free spots. In fact, carefully check the road signs if the area is not sealed for police for delivery or something to avoid fines. The parking fee is around 1.5 EUR per hour and usually payable between 8am and 8pm. Please check the exact times as it may vary per district. You can pay maximum up to 3 hrs at once. After 3 hours, you need to launch a payment again. You cannot pay for like the whole day. Max 3 hrs. Downtown unfortunately is very busy so it is normal if it takes a longer while to find your spot. Alternatively, a parking house may suit you, to find one in your area please visit: https://hu.parkopedia.com/parking/locations. Unfortunately, we cannot provide private parking.

10. Airport transfer. We are very warmly recommending the airport transfer of our reliable partner. They are Royal Transfer Service. Great drivers, great clean cars, free water and really a convenient and secure staff. Their fee is 43 EUR one way / 82 EUR return up to 4 fellow passengers. If you are more than 4, they have a cool minibus up to 8 passengers, this is 116 EUR return. After the booking of the transfer, they are going to contact you directly and discuss the very easy pick-up and they will take you to the apartment. You don’t need to pay anything in advance; the full amount of the transfer is due at the driver in cash during the first ride. If you wish to book it, please drop us a message at least 2 days before arrival or departure.

 

11. Our availability. Our call center is available between 10am and 10pm and after 10pm as well in case of emergency. Might be very busy during midday.

12. Cancellation policy. You can cancel your booking free of charge up until 1 day prior your arrival. Cancellation with 5 days the entire stay will be charged. Non refundable booking provides immediate 10 percent discounts (on top of the other discounts). Non refundable booking means all cost is payable upon booking and in case of cancellation the full amount is due.

13. Children. Children and families are warmly welcome. Free for kids under 14. We can provide baby cot in certain places (where applicable). Please contact us in advance.

14. Payment. Payment is due in EUR and we accept credit card.

15. Extra beds. For available extra beds please check the apartments at some place it is available. Maximum number of extra beds: 2 at some apartments. Cost of extra bed = 10EUR per person per night. Please contact us in advance!

16. Pets. We love pets. Unfortunately some people has problem with that (allergy or other issues). So pets are unfortunately not allowed in our apartments. 

17. Cleaning. The cleaning fee is charged with the room price. Cleaning includes a full cleaning of the apartment before checkin (cleaning, new sheets, towels, linen, etc, body soap, dishwasher, toilette paper, etc.). We also keep a few cleaning products in the apartment for your comfort. We will not disturb you with cleaning during your stay, however you may request any time extra cleaning and bed change during your stay. The cost of it  is 35EUR

18. Meal policy. There is no meal connected to apartments. Except sugar, salt, tea and coffee is provided at most apartments.

19. Luggage storage. There is no available luggage storage place at our apartment unfortunately. Fortunately there is a perfectly working luggage depo at the Westend (Nyugati) Railway Station. It is easy to find, next to the International Ticket office. Cheap and safe, for a few EUR you can store your belongings for a whole day. Also the depo is right at the stop of metro 3 - the line that takes you to the airport.

20. Quiet Hours. All of our apartments in residential buildings. In order to keep the environment quit and not disturbing the neighbours there are quiet hours between 8pm and 8am. And quiet behaviour is requested at all times. Thank you very much for your understanding.
